Went to my first AA meeting today in Denver. It was incredibly emotional and powerful - I didn’t think I was gonna speak up but when they asked if anyone was 24 hours, I said my name and that it was my first time. Before you know what everyone was clapping for me brought me a chip and pass the chip around to say prayers. Then, as people share it out, they always congratulated me and tied their story back to their journey from the beginning, it was quite powerful. To be honest, I’m feeling a little scared right now.
