a boundary I’m proud of holding it cutting my ex best friends out of my life a few years ago. we were v codependent / enabling each other‘s addictions. when I tried to get sober n tell them that I couldn’t hang out as much (bcuz legit all we would do was drugs) they got pissed n told me I brought them into my active addiction. they couldn’t take any responsibility or willingness to change. it was super hard and I still want to reach out to them sometimes but I’m onto a healthy different chapter.
