i got to see a movie with someone i really care about and my sobriety was not even a consideration in how we interacted. he even said he noticed im more quick witted since getting sober and agreed when i mentioned i thought i was definitely funnier since i stopped drinking. it's been a big change and this is cliche as fuck but it was maybe the best change i ever made for myself
