I just realized the other day, that I never knew how to handle big emotions like stress, depression, anger and grief… around 10ish years old my first form was music and hiding in the closet and quickly became cutting. By 12 alcohol and cigs and 14 pot (now pot I’m still a large advocate for but it’s not for everyone) anyways at 16 I was 👃 roxis and 💉 heroine. By 21 severely alcoholic, I now have a tumor on my liver from the years spent drinking. Pain pills and down to 7-oh tabs which I’m currently tapering off of.. My question: When I get down to my point where I can totally cut them out- How do I manage heavy emotions?
